I’m always sad when signs of fall arrive, not because fall isn’t beautiful, but because summer is almost over. However, paying attention to the glory of changing leaves takes away the sting and puts me in the present moment of the changing seasons. Not looking backward at summer, not dreading the cold winds of winter. Just appreciating this passage from summer to autumn.
