This little #cardinal friend ❤️had a hard morning #inmybackyard. I’m showing the photos in reverse order so you’ll see that he seems to have recovered. First he flew into the glass patio door. While disoriented, an unfriendly crow fell upon him. I chased the crow away as the the #cardinal cowered against the door jamb. After about ten minutes he hopped about 3 feet to get under the patio table and chairs where he recovered then flew up into those branches. We had to chase the crow away a second time. Nature seems harsh at times, doesn’t she? Don’t expect that scene just outside the house. Hope the little guy is okay #life #thewild #attentiontolife
