Isn’t it amazing that there are still occasional flowers in almost-November? I keep taking pictures (not as good as yours) of what I think will be the season’s last-flower-of-a-particular species or the season’s last flower, period, but they’re still blooming here and there.
Having written that, happily, I’m also looking forward to ski season. That, to me, is one of the great things about the state — four seasons, each with something to look forward to.

I know what you mean, Claire. The first freeze wiped some things out completely and others are hanging in there.
I’m glad you like to take photos too. Most of the pictures that I see of yours look good enough to eat!
As for ski season? I’d be happy if it would stay just like this, but no one asked me!
